Saline County Jane Doe, KS

This unidentified female's body was discovered on January 25, 1986 along I-70, West of Salina, in Saline County, KS.

She was about 25-30 years old, 5'5", 125 pounds, had light brown hair with frosted highlights and blue/gray eyes.

Identifying characteristics:

-appendix scar on her torso, the appendix had been removed.

-1 inch in length scar on the jawbone to the left of the chin, and -¾ inch in length scar on the jawbone to the below the left cheek area.

-¾ inch in length scar on the right knee that is circular shaped.

-Stretch marks visible upon abdomen. The autopsy concluded she had recently given birth.

-Dental records indicated the victim had some recent orthodontic work completed that would be pertinent identifiable characteristics a recent extraction of a tooth, root canal therapy with a broken reamer found, and both upper first premolars extracted and orthodontics done to close the spaces.

Full body x-rays, full dental records, fingerprints and DNA are available.

When found she was wearing:

A beige colored CHANTELLE brand brassiere, size 32B, made in France and had French and European markings.

Black colored JOCKEY FOR HER brand very abbreviated French cut panties.

Knee high stockings.

Lavender colored ABRAXAS brand sweat pants with 2 front zippered pockets.

This female also had fashioned false fingernails that were painted bright red in color.

Investigations at that time concluded that neither the bra, nor sweatpants were sold in Kansas.

Near the body were found a pillow case, a knapsack and a beige hat.

The victim may have come from a foreign country.
